Muslim Care working hand in hand with Human Aid.

As the critical state of affairs in Afghanistan became increasingly worst, it also became inreasingly evident that more and more urgent humanitarian aid was necessary. Numbers of displaced persons were reaching many thousands, and the requirement for food, water, warm clothing and medical supplies increasing, due to cold winter conditions, the needless loss of life and numerous women and children becoming widows and orphans is quite catastrophic. These are vulnerable people, struggling to adjust their lives after previous war torn years and drought. This current turmoil has naturally aroused international concern and the concern of the Muslim world.

Many international aid programmes are in operation but demand for urgently required help still exceeds supply. Muslim Care was lucky to have the companionship of Human Aid. They were thinking to venture a similar programme but on consultation and discussion with the trustees it became a joint venture. This partnership went very well in all aspects of the programme. Right from the initial desire to help these refugees up to the last point of delivery and actual help, the trustees of both the organisations enjoyed fullest confidence of each other.

Partnership visited these areas and assessed the very overwhelming needs for aid first hand and , with the humble support of our brothers and sisters have been able to implement the following much needed assistance so far, the success of project became possible.

Every area of distribution and AID assistance has been done with Partnership between Muslim Care and Human Aid workers overseeing the projects and ensuring that all partnerships funds are reaching our desperately needy Brothers and Sisters. Our volunteers groups will continue to ensure that the help goes on under our supervision and all donated funds reach their intended destination and purpose.
